Meet Spike - The Gentle Giant of the Herd!
Just like his namesake from The Land Before Time, Spike is a quiet, gentle soul who started out very shy and fearful. But with patience and love, he's coming out of his shell and showing his sweet, playful side!
Spike would do best starting in a launch room with plenty of cozy hideaways to help him feel safe. A calm household and another fur baby to keep him company will help boost his confidence-he loves having a herd!
He's discovering the joys of affection and now loves pats, purrs his heart out, and will happily remind you when breakfast is late by sitting on your chest and giving you his best "wake-up" roar. He even knows the alarm means cuddle time and will come running for attention!
Spike is a playful boy who adores tunnels, cat towers, and toys. Watching you clean the litter tray? His favorite pastime! And when the mop or broom comes out, it's game on-he thinks they're the best toys ever.
He's met young children and, while initially fearful, warmed up more to older kids. Sudden movements can still startle him, so a calm environment is best for this sensitive soul.
