Hi, I’m Barney Rubble

For those of you who recall the cartoon show The Flintstones, you'll remember Fred Flintstone's side-kick neighbour, Barney Rubble. Barney was a good hearted and practical individual, and a good friend to Fred. So too with our Barney Rubble here at the RSPCA. He's a sweet little gentleman who loves chin rubs and chicken, and not necessarily in that order! As in cave-dwelling days, Barney loves hiding in dark, small spaces. You may not have a cave, but a corner behind the lounge would probably be just as apt. Barney's a little timid just now so you'll need to start him in a quiet room til he finds his confidence. That loveable and loyal friend will emerge in no time!
