🦜 Meet Larry - a charming male Alexandrine parrot, a bright and expressive boy looking for a patient, loving home. He's a social bird who thrives on company and attention - he loves being part of the action and engaging with his people.

He's currently enjoying some positive reinforcement training, and is learning point-to-point targeting using sunflower seeds as his favorite reward. He's very enthusiastic about training sessions and clearly enjoys the mental stimulation and interaction they bring! He can even weigh himself on a set of scales!

While he's come a long way, he still dislikes hands and isn't ready to step up yet. He'll need a calm, experienced adopter who's comfortable continuing gentle trust-building and letting him move at his own pace.

With time, consistency, and kindness, this intelligent, affectionate parrot will continue to blossom. If you're looking for a clever companion who loves to learn, communicate, and share life's daily rhythm - this boy might just be the perfect match.
