Toby is a sensitive, sweet-natured boy who needs a calm, quiet home where he can feel safe and settle at his own pace. He would do best with a small or peaceful household and must be the only pet, as he thrives on gentle reassurance and one-on-one attention.
Once Toby begins to trust, his personality blossoms. His happiest moments are in the water-paddling in a kiddie pool, splashing in puddles, or standing in a stream with a goofy grin. It's where he feels confident and free.
Toby needs a family who is home often, can offer routine, and can provide indoor/outdoor access so he can explore and return for comfort when needed. With patience and kindness, he becomes affectionate, loyal, and deeply connected to his people.
