🐾 Meet Kovu - Confident, Cuddly, and Ready to Learn
Kovu may not have had the best start to life, but you'd never know it with the way he bounds toward affection! While he missed out on some early socialisation, Kovu is a naturally confident and curious pup who's already showing signs of becoming a loving, loyal companion.
That said, the world can still be a little overwhelming at times - even everyday things like brooms or swaying curtains can catch him off guard. He'll need a calm, supportive home where he can take things one step at a time. A safe, quiet space to retreat to when he's feeling unsure will help him continue building confidence.
Kovu loves people and is likely to be jumping into laps in no time. He would do best with calm, respectful kids (if any), and adopters who are willing to guide him through the big, wide world using positive reinforcement and patience.
Start with the backyard and slowly introduce short walks in quiet areas. While he may seem brave, dog parks and busy environments will be too much for him right now. He may also enjoy the company of a calm, friendly dog to show him the ropes.
